Reiko Yamaguchi
Only nineteen years old, and she's already experienced a difficult life. She ran away from home at
seventeen, found her way to San Francisco, and gradually sank into drug addiction
and despair. But, at the time the story begins, Reiko has made progress in cleaning up and getting

Jona

The Tuamano are an extinct tribe. And their ways will be lost forever, unless Jona can preserve the knowledge and
teach it to a new generation of paje. The terrible childhood memories that Jona shares with Victor drives them both to seek justice.

Victor Lenex
Victor is the oldest of the three main characters. Twenty-five, but already achieved the very highest of status
in career and fortune. He's driven by one goal: to bring the fate of his people, the now-extinct Tuamano, to
the forefront of global attention, and to bring justice to the murderers of his family. All his life, Victor's been a man consumed.
He forced himself to do the best he could, in school, the military, and his career. Doing what he needed in order to build his resources and connections.
Now, he's next in line to be CEO of a major corporation in Brazil. His hard work and devotion to his cause have taken him far in life.
If only Victor's superiors knew the depths to which he's gone, and what he's hiding. How long can he keep
it secret?
